Smudge is nurse-owned? The owner, Roberta Stensrud is a 20+ year ICU nurse and believes skin is one of the most important organs in the body. Roberta's vision is to create a safe and hygienic space for self care for all of Sacramento's residents. In addition, Smudge is the home to various vibrant artwork pieces from local Sacramento artists. Smudge was built in response to what was lacking in the nail industry in Sacramento.


We feature rotating art pieces throughout the space from local Sacramento artists. Nataki Owino, Joanne Johnson, and Colleen Orange are our featured artists. Stop by Smudge and check out their vibrant work-- not to mention over 40 plants throughout the space.

Adriana is a licensed esthetician with over 10 years experience and the owner of PRETTY PEACHY ESTHETICS. She specializes in Holistic Skincare and Brazilian waxing. Ultimately, her focus is on making her guests feel comfortable, providing an open & safe space for everyone! Welcome!
